Will there be additional charges on my journey?
Your ODT Journey does not include the following:
-Transfers to and from, accommodation at or any meals prior to the departure or at the conclusion of your journey. These will need to be booked and paid for separately.
-Any costs of items or services you choose to purchase or any additional meals or refreshments outside of those specified on your ODT Journey Itinerary.
-You will be required to pay for any room service, mini bar, laundry services, phone calls or alcoholic beverages and any other items or services you incur during your journey. You will need to settle any outstanding charges before leaving your accommodation.
-Any optional excursions or activities that you choose to undertake during your journey that are not outlined in your ODT Journey Itinerary.
Will I receive a copy of the ODT daily?
Wherever possible on your journey a newspaper will be delivered daily to your accommodation or transport for you to enjoy.
What do I wear?
We recommend casual, comfortable clothing that offers the chance to layer as the temperature changes. Non slip walking shoes or boots are ideal for daytime activities, especially for those with uneven surfaces or on our cruise outings. We recommend bringing a day pack with a change of clothing for the evening meals.
We know weather in New Zealand can be changeable so please be sure to bring the essentials including sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a water bottle, light jacket and warm layers.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements or allergies?

Do I need to tell you about any medical conditions or health issues?
Please do! Let us know at the time of your booking if you have any pre-existing medical conditions so our team can be as prepared as possible in the event of an emergency. Please also be sure that any prescription medication you bring with you on your journey is in the original packaging, is up-to-date and includes a copy of your prescription paperwork. Your chemist can provide this information for you.
Please also let our team know if you are allergic to any medication before we depart in the unlikely event you need medical treatment on your journey. On board our transport options are fully trained first aid staff so you can have peace of mind on your journey.
Are there optional excursions during leisure time on my ODT Journey?
On our ODT Journeys we try and provide a great mix of planned activity and leisure time but for those wanting additional adventure we do try and provide at least one optional excursion on each journey. Additional charges do apply to these excursions so please be sure to ask your travel expert at the time of booking.
These excursions are entirely optional but may have limited spaces.
Other general information:
-During your ODT Journey you may be photographed or filmed by one of our in-house team for the purposes of using these images and footage for marketing purposes. We will seek your permission prior to this and will be happy to provide information on how these images will be used. We respect your right to privacy, please let our team know if you wish to be excluded.
-Your ODT Journey does not include travel insurance or insurances of any kind. Please make sure this is organised with your chosen provider prior to undertaking your journey.
-Please be aware you may not get the same seat each day, we encourage you to move about your transport where possible to enjoy multiple views!
